Hi, I am attending college to become an elementary school teacher. My question is i have to support myself and work full time while attending school. I work in the evening and attend school in the mornings. My question is I am going to have to work full time and do the student teaching. Is this even possible? Or should I give up now? Thanks. Any advise would be appreciated.

Could apply as early as December for Spring this year or January for Fall of next year? Student teaching is waived if you get hired, you merely are observed and it is counted. Also, advantage is you don't have to use student teaching evaluations to qualify for fut...See More

realist 1) Look into geting student insurance and remember.. health care reform passed so you might be better off than you think you are.

2) You won't get hired without student teaching and get it waived-- period. Don't waste time trying.. you won't even get an interview, especially now.
