Don't get your hopes up too high What state and grade level are you in? Sadly, you could be the best student teacher ever and not be hired because there are so many layoffs. They are laying off 800 teachers in our district across all grade levels and specialities. Even special ed and math teachers are being laid off. Support staff is being laid off too. Laura I think using lessons from the internet is a great way for a student teacher to see how a lesson plan is structured and to use as a base for planning a lesson. But you probably would want to add to it or change it with your own creative ideas.
