If you want to be a teacher... lease don't give up if you really want to be a teacher. There are nice, cooperating teachers out there who really do want to nurture, guide, & support a future teacher.

to OP If you mean that you aren't sure if you have passed and may have failed, can you get a new placement in the following semester? Or did you mean that you feel like you are failing? It is weird that teachers can see how important it is for their own students but some don't seem to make that connection to also doing it with their student teacher.

I hope it works out and you find what you need. When you do your observation lessons, make sure to keep them simple and straigtforward, try to not to do new stuff that you are unsure of and make sure you do things you know will work with the kids. For example, I didn't and did a group lesson with my class and it was a huge mistake, worst lesson I ever did my whole life. It would have been much better if they had told me I needed to do partner work and use hands on activities than the noise level and trying to get their attention again. I feel for you and hope that your next experience will help you feel better whether it be your own classroom or experience you acquire while gettng ready for any college related internship. You will be ok probably, having your own class will be easier. If you get a choose about picking, try picking a school you feel very supported in where you can maybe count on the principal giving you a nice teacher.
