Hola amigos,

una pregunta.....I was hoping to study/take classes/ do
anything in a Spanish speaking country this summer. Does
any one recommend a program that would be 2-3 weeks? I am
currently getting my Masters so anything to supplement it
or just to practice my Spanish with native speakers would
be excellent.

Thanks in advance

In college I studied at El Centro Bilingue in Cuernavaca,
Mexico. It was a good school in a nice area. I'd highly
recommend it to someone wanting to go to Mexico. They do
all age levels and experience level classes for as many
weeks as you'd like.

I'm looking at a week program this summer, but sinc...See More

Emily Lo siento for the late response, but summer isn't over yet! I went to the Academia Hispano Americano four years ago and loved it! Wonderful climate being inland at a higher elevation, well organized school, I can't say enough about the experience. It's also for any level. I need to get 6 credits to renew my license and am looking to do this in a Spanish speaking country like in the summer or sometime. If you do not know about aha in San Miguel do you or does an...See More

Colibrí I just returned from the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. It's a three week program and it was excellent. You apply through the Embajada de España for this or other programs at various universities throughout Spain. I received 60 inservice hours for this which my district accepts, but they do have channels for turning this into graduate credits ...See More

gb I second the suggestion to go through the Embassy of Spain. I've done this for four different summers and everyone was excellent. You can even work towards a Masters at Salamanca and Granada. Their new programs are always listed in October-November and you need to apply by January - February. Do check it out.
