I'm a 30-somehting male. Had an assignment last week. Some female students told the teacher I made them uncomfortable, that I was checking them out when all I was doing was circulating around the room checking that they were on task and doing the assignment. One girl had her phone in her lap and I stared at her for 10 seconds and told her to put it away! I told my staffing agency that I was not checking her or any students out - but they said the complaint will remain in my file. If it happens again, I will be fired.

Now this situation has made me anxious everytime I circulate the room and check on students. Is something else going to come up. I only sub middle and high school.

I'm thinking of talking to the principial of this school to clear my name. Is this a good idea?

Honestly, I don't know why you're wishing me luck. Also, as far as "rolling over" easier than most people, if that's how you perceive my getting along with people, enjoying my work and never having a problem ...so be it. I'm happy.

BJ To the Original Poster. I presume it was in an 8th or 9th grade class. They are hypersexual at this age. I remember going over conjunctions, and there would be giggles everytime I said But.
