There are two correct spellings of the word, principle. If you are talking about the Principal of a school the correct spelling is: PRINCIPAL. An easy way to remember this is to say "The Principal is my PAL"

the other spelling, principle, means:

"an accepted or professed rule of action or conduct:

a person of good moral principles."
