Trans-Siberian Railroad with GEEO

Anyone interested in traveling on the Trans-Mongolian railroad from St. Petersburg Russia through Beijing this summer. The trip can be found on GEEO (Global Exploration for Educators Organization). I have traveled with GEEO in the past and it is well organized - this is the first year they are going to Russia!

The prices between a GEEO trip and planning your own trip should be pretty similar. Keep in mind with GEEO: -By traveling with 15 other teachers from around the country you are splitting a lot of costs. -All of your transportation is taken care of so you don't have to be taking lot's of expensive taxis/car rentals in order to get off the beaten track. -Our tour operator G Adventures books hotel rooms in bulk so they get a negotiated rate that is much less expensive then you could get on your own. -You don't have to waste time figuring out how to get from one city to to the next city and find a hotel when you get there. -You have a guide with you the entire time, making the trip go smoothly and teaching you about the country along the way. -Because GEEO is a non-profit these trips are discounted an extra 5-10% below G Adventure's prices. G Adventures is already one of the price leaders in the travel industry so you are getting one of their trips that has been discounted even further. -The trip is customized for educators so you visit a few schools, meet with educators and get curriculum materials from GEEO to help share the experience with your students when you get back to your classroom. You also earn professional development credit and have the opportunity to get Graduate credit.
