I am so excited to finally be getting a wall mounted SmartBoard for my classroom. I want to get a head start on activities to use daily in my room. One of the things I want to creat are daily editing sentences to use when the students first enter, and then have them interactively share editing corrections. Was hoping from experienced advice on the best method to use to create these daily sentences. Thanks!

teach4 Thanks, I do actually use Caught Ya Grammar Again - but I teach 4th so don't think the sentences for HS would work.

But when you say large font, how large do you use? Since I am doing this at home for next year, can't test it on the board and want to make sure they will work, and not have to take the time to readjust he font size.

Teri Use an easy to read font, like Comic Sans, and font size needs at least 22, maybe larger for younger students...24? I use the notebook paper theme so it actually looks like their paper.

Teach4 Sorry, have really used the board - but not with these type of lessons.

Can you make the font go right on the paper as though it was written on the paper?

Teri If you play around with the fonts (comic sans, verdana, times) and skip spaces between lines, then, yes, you can make the writing appear on the lines, as if it were written on notebook paper.
