I have been given money to purchase a smartboard, but must confess that I know very little about them and their benefits. Would anyone be willing to take the time to enlighten me to their qualities? Give suggestions as to what to buy? Useful websites? I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks!!
Lill Go the the smartboard site. They have tutorials and many lessons that you can look at. You can also download their Notebook software (as a trial) and actually look at some of their programs and lessons. Play with it and you will see all of the really exciting things that you can do.

East End Long Islander Smartboards are great stuff! Once you get more and more advanced, it is such a wonderful tool.

You can elminate blackboards, whiteboards, and flipchart paper. (Hooray for the environment and messy chalk, markers, etc.). You can create beforehand and project on the screen. You can write as you go along. You can print what you create. You ca...See More
