Does anyone use a Mac for their smartboard? I am trying to figure out how to show something on my smartboard and not have the same thing on my desktop...to slide the screen from my computer to the smartboard. I know that this is possible to do using a PC but no one seems to know how to do this on a MAC. Has anyone figured this out?
winkie I am a novice to this as well...my Smartboard is supposed to be installed and ready to go tomorrow morning. I have a Mac and they had to download Notebook onto it. Maybe you need that in order to do what you want. Try asking someone on this site: [link removed]

Teri Even with a PC, the only way to do this is to use the Smart Board's remote and "freeze" the frame. Then you can do what you want on your computer without changing what is on the Board. However, the Smart Board is NOT interactive when it is "frozen."

MATILDA ON A MAC THERE IS AN OPTION ON SYSTEM PREFERENCES- DISPLAYS-TO MIRROR DISPLAYS. THIS OPTION ONLY SHOWS UP WHEN YOU HAVE A SMART BOARD OR WHATEVER CONNECTED TO YOUR COMPUTER.
