Dear Teachers: I am asking for everyone to please send a short note to my class of second and third graders for Day 100. I would like to have most before Day 100 so that I can enlarge, copy and laminate them for the children and the Bulletin Board. I want to thank everyone who has already sent a note to [email removed].
Hi, I loved the idea of 100 e-mails. Can you please write me an e-mail telling me about your school. I am teaching third grade in an international school in Pakistan. My class would love to know about your class and school. Thanks.

Hi, My name is Carla Tullis. I teach second grade in Villa Rica, Georgia. I have been a teacher for 21 years. I think you must have a very interesting life teaching in Pakistan. My class is just coming back from Christmas break. We are learning about artic animals and penguins. We are also getting ready for the CRCT test in March. Our biggest plan for now is preparing to celebrate the 100th day of school on Jan. 22, 2003. I hope you will reply soon. Good wishes to all of you, Carla Tullis

I posted a request for my son on Ebay's Giving Board to get 100 postcards last year. In 2 1/2 weeks, he got 170 postcards from 30-something States and 7 foreign countries. Granted, I am a regular chatter there, but if you go to the link I provided and state your need, someone there will tell you how to post a request on the main request list, under Educational. You do have to be registered with Ebay to post a message, but it is all free.

100th Day Bottle making activity. I am asking the parents to give their child a plastic bottle (water or 2- liter) and fill it at home with 100 small objects (use your imaginations!) Children will bring these to school the week we are celebrating our 100th day and we will do a variety of measurement activities with their bottles.
