Don't miss this one.... after we complete our day of centers that
focus on the 100th day we always have a 100 balloon helium
balloon launch. ($40 or so, we use our fund raising money to pay
for them). It is a lovely culmination... all children and guests stand
in a big circle grasping a balloon.... we count to 100 by 5's and
then we all let go.... it makes a magnificent visual... one that kids
always come back to kindergaten and remember fondly.

Ok, this is being picky, but since the balloons then cause
pollution, why don't you release 100 butterflies instead. Not
only beautiful, but great for the environment, too!

You can purchase biodegradible balloons for a little more $.
How about putting a tag on them that is laminated asking the
finder to send a note back identifying their location. Then
keep track of where they went and how many were found?
