To everyone looking for center ideas. . .Last summer I worked on creating several centers for my middle school math class. These centers are formatted to be printed on business cards or on cardstock and can be adapted to almost any subject. All you would need to do is change the content of the cards to the subject area you are trying to come up with ideas for. The format is done for you. I also have a booklet I created, which I hand out during presentations, about "Motivating the Unmotivated." steve I am not an expert in the use of centers in my 5/6 classroom, however I will share what I have done and what has worked. The local newspaper donates newspapers so I have a newspaper center with five papers. Sometimes I give a scavenger hunt to go along with the paper.
