International Climate Change Project

The Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management is
launching an exciting international project on teaching
climate change this spring. We seek 4 seventh or eighth
science teachers in the US to join groups of teachers
participating from Chile, Italy, and Estonia and potentially
from Japan, Argentina and Georgia.

A core goal of this project is to study the use of Open
Educational Resources (OER) to make current science and
teaching practices freely available to teachers
internationally. ISKME's OER Commons project (

Teachers will benefit from this project by using and
developing open educational resources and by participating
in an international exchange with educators in other
countries. Specifically, participating teachers will:
