Hey everyone, my name is Alex and I started UEarning to be a go-to for any cause or fundraiser that needs to raise money. So I urge you all to join and help me make the site better, and to spread the word!
People in the neighborhood are always ready to support a good cause, but when you offer them a really good deal it becomes even easier. School fundraising cards offer your buyer a great deal that is not overpriced. In fact, they will save quite a bit more than they spend on the card by saving money on products and services they already use! Friends, neighbors and relatives will be glad to put their money to good use by helping out the school and supporting local merchants at the same time.
If you are new to fundraising, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by all of the ideas and options available to you. Candy, greeting cards, jerky, candles and catalog items are commonly used to raise money for different groups or organizations. Think about it this for a moment; some of these products are quickly consumed, and usually overpriced. Greeting cards are only used during certain times of the year, and customers have to wait for catalog orders to come in. School fundraising cards provide real value, and are usually good for one year before they expire. This means your buying customers will get good use out of something they spent very little money on.
Many people like to have something in hand when they spend their money, and would rather not wait for weeks to receive an item they have already paid for. School fundraising cards are easy to sell because of the affordable price and real savings they offer. Plus, the kids will have the cards in hand, ready to turn them over instantly upon payment!
Raising the money you need for a school trip to the zoo, new playground equipment or any other cause should be fun for the kids. It also helps them to feel involved so that they develop a sense of their importance as part of a team. School fundraising cards make the entire process simple and easy; no catalogs or candy to lug around, and a great product that people in the community will gladly spend money on!
Depending on your need, school fundraising cards are extremely popular. The more you order, the higher your profit margin! In a school situation, you will likely have hundreds of kids involved in raising the needed funds for your cause. When you multiply hundreds of kids by 5 cards, which is the average number of sales that one person makes, you are raising a substantial amount of money. If you order only 1,000 school fundraising cards, your cost is reduced significantly and your profit margin is 100%. There aren’t many fundraising items that can produce exceptional results as easily as these valuable cards.
When it is time to raise money for any activity or equipment needed at school, you want to choose a company that is easy to deal with and offers assistance. Fundraising can be labor intensive and involve a great deal of time, so make things as simple as possible. Contact a reputable company who not only offers school fundraising cards, but does most of the legwork for you and educates you on effective ways to sell. You will find that this is the absolute easiest method to raise the money you need while providing value to your customer and supporting your local merchants.
Naturally, you want your school fundraiser to be as successful as possible, but reducing the amount of work involved sounds pretty enticing. Fundraising cards for schools are perfect when you are trying to raise money for the band, the prom, athletic program needs or any other school function or activity. Many items that are usually associated with fundraisers don’t really provide much value to the customer, which makes them hard to sell. Fundraising cards for schools are the number one choice because of the price, and because the offers on the cards allow consumers to save money on all types of products and services.
When you are responsible for organizing the fundraiser you are involved in many tasks, one of which includes making sure the participants are happy. You want the crew to enjoy selling the product and you want to make great profits, so choosing the right product is essential. It’s necessary that you consider the size of your group, and which products offer the highest profit margins with a minimum of fuss. Products that have high shipping charges or high minimum orders are probably not a great choice. Fundraising cards for schools involve no shipping or minimum orders, and the product is available on the spot when the customer makes a purchase.
When you consider that those supporting the school fundraiser will likely be parents, relatives, friends and others that live in your own community, choose a product that makes sense! Fundraising cards for schools offer savings and discounts to 12 or more local and national merchants in your area. This means that families and people in your own community can save on dining, auto services, flowers, video rentals and other goods and services people frequently spend money on anyway! Add to that the support of merchants in your local community, and it just makes great sense – and HUGE profits for your cause.
Fundraising cards for schools sell at $10, which is easily within most budgets, especially considering the amount of money the customer will save over one years time. People feel good when they know that they are getting a real bargain and supporting the school along with local merchants. Kids love selling them because they are so easy to sell, and there is no order-taking involved. It is a very simple and profitable way for your group or organization to raise the needed funds without a great deal of work and stress.
The next time your school needs to raise money for any cause, fundraising cards for schools are a natural choice. The ease in which they sell, easy profits, support of local merchants and value for the customer are four very good reasons you should consider them for your next fundraiser. There is no better solution when you want to keep things simple with a minimum of fuss AND make incredible profits!

When you decide that a fundraiser is the way to raise the money you need, there are many decisions to be made. What product or products will you offer to potential buyers? Which ones allow for the greatest profit margin, but will still offer great value to the customer? Fundraiser discount cards make every aspect of the process simple, since there is no shipping involved or other extra costs. Your participants have the product available the moment the customer pays, so everyone is happy!
Many items that are ordinarily used to raise money require extra effort on the part of those doing the selling. Young children, teens and even young adults enjoy the experience so much more when they don’t have so much to keep up with. Catalog sales are great, but the customer has to spend a great deal of time flipping through in order to determine what they want to order. Waiting for the item to be shipped is another aspect of the process. Even then, participants have to go out once again to deliver the items, and if something doesn’t come in a refund is in order. Fundraiser discount cards help eliminate all of the chaos and confusion, and make raising money enjoyable for the entire group.
Organizing a fundraiser includes determining how much money you need, how many people will be in your group, and what the profit margin should be in order for you to raise the necessary funds. Some items offer a low profit margin, which means you have to sell more of the product in order to meet your needs. Fundraiser discount cards allow you to make great profits, and are something that everyone can use. The value is immeasurable, because many customers will experience savings that far exceed what they paid for the card! There aren’t many products you can choose that offer so much value for the money.
Discounts on food, hair cuts, flowers, auto maintenance and family activities are a few of the things you will find offered on fundraiser discount cards, so it’s easy to see why they are such a popular fundraising item. If residents of your local community are going to patronize most of the local merchants anyway, why not save money? Customers love knowing that not only are they supporting the organization you represent, they are supporting the local merchants at the same time. At only $10, fundraiser discount cards are an affordable way to raise the money you need.
Have you been responsible for planning a fundraiser in the past for your group or organization? If you have, you know it can be an overwhelming and stressful task. The next time you are put in charge of planning or organizing a fundraiser, make things easier on yourself and everyone involved. Fundraiser discount cards are the easiest, most effective way to raise any amount required for your cause!
When you try to determine which easy fundraising ideas are best for your group, keep in mind the age of those involved. Are they very young children, teenagers or the entire adult class at church? This makes a difference in which products you choose to sell, because older children and adults can handle more responsibility than young children. With the youngsters, it’s often easier to sell products that they have on hand at the time of the sale, such as discount cards. This prevents them from having to keep up with order forms, catalogs and money, which can be a bit too much for the younger ones.
Here are some easy fundraising ideas for small children:
Candy bars have been a popular choice of schools for years when it comes to fundraisers. Since the candy bars are usually packaged in a single box and readily available upon payment, children don’t have the responsibility of keeping up with catalogs and order forms.
Discount cards are another great choice, and even more profitable than candy bars. The children have the cards with them, and can provide the customer their purchase as soon as payment is made. These cards offer excellent discounts and savings on a variety of products and services such as restaurants, auto maintenance, hair cuts and other services at local area merchants.
Teenagers and adults can usually handle catalog sales items, cookie dough and other products that are a little more involved.
Easy fundraising ideas for churches and youth groups can be any number of things. Many youth groups offer car washes during warmer months, and usually set up in a parking lot of a restaurant or retailer in town where the traffic is heavy.
Bake sales, spaghetti suppers and raffles are other easy fundraising ideas often used by churches. Women of the church bake cookies, pies, cakes and other goodies that may then be sold wherever they decide to set up. Raffles are a good way to raise the needed money as well, as some of the older women of the church can piece together a beautiful hand-made quilt that may sell for a good chunk of money. Teenagers and young adults can offer their services in the form of a ‘work day’, when they offer to landscape, mow, clear brush or do general housework for friends and family in the local community for a donation.
There are a few other easy fundraising ideas for schools that offer a unique twist to the ordinary and common ways of raising money. A school dance to celebrate summer, Valentine’s Day or even a back to school dance to get everyone back in the groove can help you raise a substantial amount of money. Organize a theme-based dance, decide where it will be held, the menu, etc., and charge for tickets! Pre-teens and teenagers love music and dancing, so this is a great way to raise some of the funds you need for your cause. Determine how much you will charge for tickets, snacks, beverages etc., and watch the kids have a great time.
For those of you who have been through this before and find fundraising to be a real chore, use your creativity and do something different! There are literally hundreds of easy fundraising ideas that will be fun for all involved, including the one who gets stuck with the planning.
There must be unique fundraising ideas that will grab people’...See MoreLet’s face it – finding the right fundraising idea for your sports team or community organization can be hard. You need to find a way to convince people to part with their hard-earned cash, and pushing questionable baked goods, wrapping paper and candy is SO 20th century.
There must be unique fundraising ideas that will grab people’s attention and get them to hand over the green, right?
Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock for a while, you know that we may be onto something with that “green” thing. Recycling is now not only good for the earth; it’s trendy and profitable too. So why not consider a recycling fundraiser? You don’t think those big office stores give you cash for your used ink cartridges out of the goodness of their hearts, do you? Nope. There’s money to be made from it. And if you can find them in the bottom of your kid’s toy box, there’s money to be made from recycling old cell phones too.
The cool thing is that once you set up this type of fundraiser, it can go on indefinitely. You keep sending the goods, and they’ll keep sending the funds.
And since everyone always wants to know what’s in it for them, here are some great talking points for convincing your organization that one of these unique, green fundraising ideas is the way to go:
1. Many have no up front costs other than the donated items to recycle
2. Recycling fundraisers can be set up as ongoing income generators – the more you collect, the more you make!
3. Green fundraising is good for the environment and gives people a great way to get rid of electronic waste without having to pay to do it
4. Green, trendy and unique = easier to sell = more profits!

To begin, you want to consider the monetary needs and the ages of the group who will actually be raising the money. Children have a one-track mind; with this age group, you want to offer a product that is available instantly upon payment, so they don’t have orders, catalogs and other things to keep up with. Easy fund raising begins with choosing the most profitable product that is suitable for the age group you are working with. By keeping things simple for younger children, you save yourself a great deal of stress and hassle as well.
Also, consider the actual products you choose, how easy they are to deliver, what is required as far as shipping, and what the profit margin is. Ideally, you want a product with a great profit margin. This means you do less selling, as fewer sales equal more money – easy fund raising for all involved! Common products sold to raise money are candy bars, jerky, popcorn, cookie dough, candles and catalog products. With many of these products, the profit margin isn’t that great and you have to wait for them to be shipped, at which point you must go out and deliver them. This all amounts to added work that you would probably rather avoid.
There are other ways to accomplish easy fund raising that don’t involve going out and selling or delivering products. Here are a few ideas that work well for school organizations and church groups:
Sponsor a festival in your community – A festival is an easy way to raise a portion or all of the funds you need for your cause. Include activities that are cheap and easy to offer, such as face painting, a Frisbee toss, sack races, volley ball and other things. Hold your festival at a local park or other location that is convenient for those who attend, and charge $2 or $3 for admission.
Raffles – Selling raffle tickets for a nice product is a simple and effective way to raise some of the money you need. When you can get a hundred or so people to buy a $5 raffle ticket (or more than one), it doesn’t take long to build up a nice sum of money.
Discount cards – This is one idea that greatly contributes to easy fund raising, because of the perceived value and ability to support the local community. Neighbors, friends and others in your area won’t mind spending $10 for a card that gives them access to great discounts at many local merchants! In the long run, your customer saves more than they spent on the card and feels good knowing they contributed to the community.
In order to accomplish easy fund raising, organize everything well ahead of time. If you have been responsible for planning in the past and realize mistakes you made, learn from them so that it’s easier next time. Hold a meeting with everyone who will be involved, from those who will organize to those who do the actual selling. Everyone can discuss what action to take, and offer their opinion with ideas that will make the entire process simple and enjoyable for all involved. Prepare a plan of action, and you will see that there really is such a thing as easy fund raising!
