Unlike other sites that try to raise funds for any cause, this one is designed specifically for teachers. Unlike other education-oriented sites, the money raised goes directly to the teacher, not to a fulfillment service that in turn buys the materials, charges an additional handling fee, and sends it – not to the teacher – but to the school’s principal. The site's stated aim? To get the maximum number of dollars in the maximum number of teachers’ hands. How refreshing . . .
