Why a Discount Cards Fundraiser is Preferred Over Other Opti

There are countless reasons that a discount cards fundraiser is preferred over other products and activities that many churches, schools and non-profit groups have counted on over the years. While many of the common activities used to raise money are indeed fun and allow you to enjoy the company of others, they can be a great deal of work - maybe more than you want to do, or not as profitable as you would like. A discount cards fundraiser offers many advantages, some of which will be discussed here.

Easy for participants of all ages

Whether your group is an elementary school class or the teenagers at church, a discount cards fundraiser is easier for all involved. There are no products to store, like is the case with candy bars, cookie dough, jerky and the like. For example, if you order up to 499 cards, you enjoy 50% profit; order 1,000 or more, and your profit margin soars to 100%!

You may think that selling 1,000 cards sounds like an impossible task, but when you consider that most individuals are easily capable of selling 10 cards or more, it's fairly easily accomplished. Have 100 students in the 4th grade class? With a discount cards fundraiser, you can earn $10,000 in a short amount of time; how long would it take to raise this much money with candy bars?

Discount cards are absolutely outdated! The worst part is that you have to find people to actually buy the cards. What if instead, you had them download a free app. Check-In For Good has filled a huge void in the fundraising business.

Discount cards are absolutely outdated! The worst part is that you have to find people to actually buy the cards. What if instead, you had them download a free app. Check-In For Good has filled a huge void in the fundraising business.

Once downloaded, the user chooses their Cause in the system, then looks up the businesses that are supporting that Cause (via GPS). Then, like Foursquare, the user checks in at one of these businesses when they shop there and the business makes a "micro-donation" (such as $1.00)back to that Cause, and provides a deal.

There are no out-of-pocket or upfront costs to the Cause, and Businesses only donate AFTER your Cause has driven them business.
