I have a russian dwarf hamster who is about 1 year old.
He has very over grown nails that are now curving. And I
don't dare clip them myself! Please help me!

I have that same problem, and I've found a variety of
responses on the internet: put sandpaper on their wheel for
a while to wear them down (but not too long so their feet
don't hurt), introduce some sort of rough wood or stone into
the cage so that they can walk on it, or similar measures.
