We have one teacher that keeps 10 hamsters but is
neglectful of cleaning the cages in a timely manner. She
has been encouraged by admin but to no avail. She does not
seem to notice any odor at all and insists the animals have
no smell.

We rotate meetings by room and have agreed unanimously to
not use her room for meetings. When she heard this, she
took it as a personal affront and is even more difficult to
work with than before.

No one goes to her room unless absolutely necessary and
even then for only the few seconds it takes to leave
something or pick up a student or whatever.

someone needs to speak to administration on their behalf.

I love having pets in my classroom, but one of the reasons is
to teach students responsibility. What is never cleaning...See More
