Seeking advice from reading teachers

I need some advice and I am hoping that maybe one of you
can help. I graduated college in 2003 with a bachelor's
degree in journalism and broadcasting. I am still at the
same office I have worked at for about the past 3 years.
I am 29 now and at this point in my life I am really
looking for a new more meaningful career path. I never
meant to stay in the business realm and my mind keeps
going back to education for some reason. I think it is
because I have done volunteer work with children before
and really enjoyed it. I am seriously considering the
Master of Ed in Reading program at NSU. I have narrowed
my search down to this program and a few others that also
involve education. My main question is how do you know if
the education field is right for you? Are there any signs
or qualities in myself that I should be looking for? What
