hi everyone, i am not an english teacher...i actually am a
spanish teacher but am teaching a section of life skills
to give me full-time status... anyway, i am looking for a
book to read with my students. in the past, i have read
SPEAK and another book along those lines. we usually read
(or rather, i usually read to them...) for about 20
minutes a day. i am not exactly sure of my students this
time around but, from my experience, these students don't

book that will keep their attention, has themes relevant

i do believe my class is majorily males (only one girl, as
of now). any ideas??? i would more than appreciate
your thoughts!! muchisimas gracias.!!

The best book to begin with in my experience is A living
Nightmare, first book in the Cirque du Freak series by
Darren Shan. Es el mejor libro para que los estudiantes se
animen a leer.
