We are a project based high school. We are a replication model of the New Technology schools out of California. We team teach Civics/ Economics and English. This project will allow us to learn the court system. Our project is to put Cinderella’s evil step mother on trial for child abuse. Then we will put her on trial for violating Cinderella’s Civil Rights. We will also tie in world literature by reading different versions of the Cinderella story. We ask each school to send us a local version or an international version of Cinderella. We will then post the different versions.
Hello, I am hosting a project for elementary school children and wanted to invite you to join. It is a project about native state animals. We live in Ohio and want to learn more about the animals in other states and what better way to do this then from the children that live there. Please visit the Wiki and find out more! Or email me with any questions.
Thanks, Christina Maize Elementary 2nd Grade Teacher Technology Team Lead

Hello All! I am a first grade teacher in Louisiana. I am putting together a Flat Stanley Project for my first graders this year. I am looking for a few teachers that may be willing to host a students Flat Stanley. It is an easy project to participate in. All you need to do is write in a journal about his adventures with you and send him back before the end of the year. Each student who will keep whatever comes back with their Stanley.
Flat Stanley is a story that I read to my students. The boy Stanley is flattened when a bulletin board falls on him while he is asleep. So, his mom and dad folded him up and put him in an envelope. He traveled to his friends house for the summer. It is a cute story and I couldn't help but make the stanleys and mail them off too. thanks for agreeing to help. Please send me an email at [email removed].
Would love to have a Flat Stanley. I am a preschool teacher and i use Flat Stanley as a way to learn that there are more places in the world then just where we live. We are in Virginia. Let me know and I will send you my address my preschool kids would love this as well. Hope to hear back soon.

Any ideas on how to plan an exciting party for students? It's my first year of teaching and am sticking close to the curriculum.
4th graders have finished reading "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and will be having a party. Any good game suggestions? Any creative ideas to add some spice to the party? (As of now, we have students scheduled to bring in treats and act out scenes from the book.) I'm just looking for a few more ideas.
What I find makes the most successfull party is when a theme is carried out through the whole party. Such as an ocean theme, or a science theme. if you are doing "charlie and the Chocolate factory, that seems pritty broad. You might wan't to consider just doing a book party theme and have kids dress up as there favorite book character. during the party you could do book related crafts ect, like making book marks for example. If you do Charlie and the Chocolate factory, perhaps this might involving doing allot of baking with chocolate. HOpe the kids don't get sick!

I am a tech coordinator in Manhattan, KS. I am searching for a teacher that is willing to be a blogging buddy with a 4th grade teacher in my building. She is wanting to read a book (book titles can be discussed later) and blog about the book with another class. Sound like fun? Let me know! We would love to match her up with another teacher!
I don't know if you already have a teacher that is interested (the posting is old), but I would be interested in this! We are very tech. savy 4th grade classroom, and I know my kids would love this. I am currently reading a short novel by Cynthia Rylant- Every Living Thing. Please look at our website to get an idea of what we are doing [link removed]

We, an ex Columbia University, Microsoft, and Google Employee have developed a software and hardware solution for children and parents. Our goal is to increase education to children/students, while decreasing video games / PC games / online games and website visits / cell phone activity usage. A behavior modification approach to the learning experience, for children between the ages of five and eighteen. Parents and educators will now have a tool that encourages learning and creative problem solving by motivating their children to earn game / play time / phone time. Parents and educators will also have a way to control their child’s/students obsession. : We are able to now limit the amount of time played with video games / PC games / online activities, installing a propriety education portal (similar to linking to Wiki portal) and/or linking to the school systems curriculum, which advances game play / online time / phone time with successful completion of correctly answered questions, and learning modules, changing content each day and time allotted for continued game play. The game or online use will be blocked, using the patented software/hardware, until successful completion of tasks. We are not only providing a service, but have created several win-win scenarios. The child/student attention is now divided between leisure activity and learning transferable marketable skills through knowledge building by answering questions requiring creative problem solving while blocking online use/pc and game consoles. Children or students now have double the benefit since the education portals will shape behavior to help them reach both their short term goals through earning game time and long terms goals of employment or being productive members of society.
If you’re interested in these tools we developed, please email us. We would love to work with a few schools at this time while in beta phase of developement or give us your thoughts on the project. Thank you for your time.
