Hi everyone,

I teach 2nd graders at a school in Chicago, Illinois,
USA. My kids are 100% African American and many of them
are
low income students who have not experienced much in their
lives. I am doing a project this year called Passport to
the World, in which they will learn about all 7 continents
and the people that reside in their countries.
For instance, while studying North America, we will
look at the United States too. We will also examine

I teach 4th Grade in Oklahoma City. My kids are 98%
hispanic and really only know 3 locations: Oklahoma, Texas,
and Mexico. This would be a great way for them to learn
more about Oklahoma as well as another place. We start
school next week. Let me know if you still need people to
exchange.
Thanks

with them where they share cultural interests, similarities,
and differences with their penpal. If anybody is interested
