Today I stopped in at the DeKalb County office to drop off
some additional items for my application. I asked the girl
at the front desk to check and make sure they had it on
file. I have called before and been told that they have
it. She checked and then told me that she didn't find it,
and said, "it has probably been pulled." She then said
they have new applications and asked if I wanted to fill
one out. I asked if it was really necessary to fill out
another one (unless they have lost the first one). She
said, "well, they are looking at THESE applications now."
She also said they don't keep the applications on file
very long. I asked if they keep them at least a year. She
said they did. I told her I had filled mine out at the end
of June, so surely they had not discarded it. I then took

ON a whole, Florida has a world above AL when it comes to
getting certified and getting jobs. I loved my position
there, and I would move back in a heartbeat if I thought my
house here would sell right away and I could afford one
