I am currently teaching at a school in southern alabama. I
live in norther alabama. I drive 100 miles to work
everyday, just had a baby, and I live in a different time
zone. I have found a school the is about 15 miles from my
home that needs a math teacher starting now. Any
suggestions on how to go about getting out of contracn.

Pay off your contract even if it means your broke for a
while...(can't be worse than the gas money you'll spend). 15%
of what your due is pretty standard. It is not a good idea to
pass up a job opportunity near home.

You are mistaken. Much of Chambers County is on Eastern time!
