I am currently enrolled in Troy University, Alabama and my G.I. Bill is about to end. I do not qualify for Pell Grants. From what I have read, since I am not in poverty, a minority, and I work full time so I attend school part time, I do not qualify for anything! I am running out of options. I do not want to be neck deep in loans and I just don't know what else to do. PLEASE, if any one has any ideas, PLEASE let me know. I am in the Elementary Education program.

missy There are TEACH Grants that some Universities have starting this year. They pay your tuition. Talk to your financial aid officer and ask if Troy University offers the TEACH GRANT. Cyna I don't know what colleges are in your area, but I know that traditionally black universities (like Alabama A & M, Alabama State University, and Tuskgee University) offer scholarships for underrepresented populations. Courtney You should check out the ATRIP program. I don't know if you are eligible since you only go to school part time. It's a new program and I know that I got one of the graduate student scholarships and they are slow to get the money to you but it's so helpful to have! Courtney
