Didn't GA teachers just get a pay cut by getting 3 day furloughs and more days could be taken away if the economy doesn't improve? I don't know exactly what MACE does in GA to help but not being able to protect your salaries seems like they don't have much power.

Missing MACE
I do indeed miss knowing that I am a member of MACE, a teachers union that will stand up for teachers against abusive administrators. I wish that MACE were in Alabama.
