Just found out that my school is labeled as NON- Performing and I don't want top come back. What does that mean and how can I get out of the contract?
LB Well, it means your school is in school improvement! It could mean some things will change, but in my experience the first year of school improvement is not when drastic changes occur. Lynn There are teachers who like to fix what is broken and belong at non-performing schools. And then there are those that don't and would rather work in a school where maintaining or exceeding standards is pushed. You're obviously in the latter, which is okay.

a z teach and for FYI, if there is even one school non performing in your district not only is that school put on a plan but the other schools have to follow it!!!! my school is having to follow some plan when another school FAILED. ridiculous
