How Long to Get License from the Department of ED?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can give me information about how long it will take for the department of education to process my application for a reciprocal license. The website only says that they process applications in the order they are received so I was wondering if anyone with experience can share how long it took for them to get their license? TIA

KAB Yes, I have the equivalent of a full ESL endorsement from my home state. I'm still not sure what you mean about going straight to provisional? I talked to the school district I will be working with next year, and they seem to think I won't be able to get my certificate without applying through them. I talked to the school district I will be working with next year, and they seem to think I won't be able to get my certificate without applying through them. That sounds odd to me because in my home state you can certainly apply for a teaching certificate without being hired by a school district.

No you get certificate from ADE is correct. When you get your fingprint clearance card you can use endorsment application and if you have ESL apply for ((FULL)) ESL endorsment.
