I just received a rather unfriendly message from a school district in Arizona, saying they could not consider me since I do not have a current Arizona license. I actually had an Arizona license before I moved to California and became certified in CA. I am planning on applying to a lot of different states, since I will work anywhere I can find a job. I thought I could use my California license to apply and then if hired I would, of course, change my certification to that state. However, am I wrong and I need to get certified before I even apply? I can't imagine spending so much money to be certified in states I may not even get a job. Can anyone offer some insight?
