Can someone tell me what I might expect to ask as a first year teacher with a Master's Degree (actually a JD) in Arizona? I have ESL certification, fluent in Spanish and German. I also have (or will have) certifications in English and Civics. Does ESL certification and a Master's degree help with the first year salary? Can anyone tell me what I can expect to earn? Thank You. - Jay

Jay Thank you, Kelly. I do appreciate your input even if it's not what I wanted to hear! LOL! Thanks, Jay

Susan If you are open to living in a non-traditional location, the pay is comparable to the rest of Arizona but housing and the cost of living is really cheap on the Reservations - Navajo, Apache, Hopi. Very rural areas but I have lived and taught here for 3 years and have been able to save a lot of money.
