I was recently hired to teach 3rd grade at Casa Grande and have to move from NY. The job would start July 24 so I want to be there by July 21 AT THE LATEST!
Do any teachers HAVE or know of rooms or aparments that are close to the schools, reasonably priced (500-600), safe and quiet? Being a newb to the profession is stressful enough, I don't want the drama associated w/ living with some weirdo I meet on craigslist or living in sum slum where I hear violence and drug deals through the wall.
If anyone does have a place, please respond to this post with the details.

Hi Rob, welcome to AZ. Don't be desperate or sorry! Casa Grande is a great little town and it's pretty safe. You don't need a room mate to live within the $500 - $600 range.
