Is this year especially slow in getting replies to applications? I heard math teachers are having a hard time finding a job!

Anonymous It probably depends on the district. I imagine in coveted rich, suburban districts that even for math and science there are much more applicants than openings whereas in inner-city "urban" districts is where the "shortage" exists.
