A UK non-profit organization, Peace One Day, has just launched a multimedia Education Resource in the US which aims to advance active learning in the areas of conflict resolution, global citizenship, human rights and the link between sustainability and peace, using the annual UN International Day of Peace 21 September as a focus.
Please do encourage all your friends whether they are teachers, parents, youth leaders or students themselves to logon to [link removed].
It is a fantastic tool to not only empower students to engage in making a difference in their schools, communities and the greater world at large, but also instigates celebration projects with themes of intercultural relations in the lead up to Peace Day which is just over a month away.
