Hey guys, just had a quick question. I am applying to some teacher certification programs this year and was wondering if there's still a demand for science teachers?
Math Teach "In Demand" is a term used loosely. I am a math teacher, in a defined "shortage area". This year, however, I don't have a contract. There were many applicants for each job in each of the suburban districts I applied to.

chem teac Certification coordinators are ALWAYS going to be enthused when people join a certification program because you pay their salary! When was the last time they hired anyone for a teaching job?
