As you may have heard things in TX are getting tough (yeah even more) for teachers. We are a foreign family (husband and wife are both certified teachers in VA and TX) working under H1B visa and half way on PR. We are afraid we may lose our jobs here. My question is: do you know of any school district in CT willing to continue sponsoring our H1B? This is very serious please no scams. Thanks a bunch.

Ruth Susan, teaching jobs are pretty scarce in CT, and the certification requirements are very stringent. What are you and your husband certified to teach? You should start by contacting the state Dept. of Ed. to find out if either of you qualify for CT certification.
