Hello! I'm a freelance writer/poet based in Northern Virginia and I was wondering if anybody knows how I can get listed on the roster for Arts in Education/Artists in the School.
I am interested in working with a school that is underserved in the language arts. (Ok, I know this is a gross generalization, but I'm ignorant about the curriculum design in DC Public Schools.) I am willing to help a school seek funding for an Arts-in-Education project, help design a plan, etc. I am aware that the grant deadlines for this fiscal year may have passed. (The website that I found was grossly outdated...)
I'm really just interested in working with teenagers - junior and high school age - and helping them learn about crative writing and professional writing as a way to enrich their personal lives as well as their long-term goals. If there is a position available at your school that is available for this, or you know about the Artists-in-the-School program, I will very grateful if you email me.
If no grant-funding is possible for this school year, I am also interested in exploring after-school programs, giving workshops, and/or mentoring students interested in pursuing writing as a career.
Hi Yall, I’m in the process of writing a book on whats its like to be a sub in an inner city school. If you are willing to share your story with me please email me.

Each exchange or holiday swap is displayed as a mini "web page" complete with photo albums and relevant information. You can spend hours reading the different profiles, viewing photos and visiting links to teacher exchange and holiday swap locations all over the world. Check them out at the link below!

Have you found a teacher yet? I'm looking for students. Email me if you're interested!
We are a new postcard exchange, and we need a kinder, first, or second grade class from D.C. to participate. You will need to purchase 50-55 postcards to mail to all of the other states (and maybe a few to Canada). I am compiling all of the information, and will send all of the addresses out as soon as all of the "spots" are filled. In return, you will receive a postcard from every state, all throughout the year. This is a very exciting project! Please join us!
If you need help in French, you are at the right place- Writing, conversation, translation, singing, poetry, lyrics and more. Here, learning is just fun and in no time, with willingness from your part and motivation from mine, is achievment beyond expectation. Lessons are mostly delivered at students' place or at a convenient educational venue.
