How are Title I schools different than the "standard school"? I have been offered a position, if my references check out, at a Title I school. I will be relocating and in my area all schools get Title I funding for supporting the students but none are called a "Title I school". Thanks....

Has anyone's application for Orange County been rejected. Mine was rejected and was told I am ineligible for employment in Orange County. Can;t reach anyone who can tell me why....
On 5/31/15, Stacy wr...See MoreDo you have a Florida license? I never applied in Orange County, but that has caused my application to be kicked back before I got that settled in Florida.
Did you possibly check "yes," presumably by mistake, to one of the questions about criminal history or license suspension? That might do it too.

I don't work in Brevard, but it seems like they should have some positions posted by now. It's very possible that they are posted internally this time of the year and will be available to external applicants later. I recommend making a list of questions and calling Personnel directly. I'm sure they will answer your question(s) and give you advice/insight. Good luck!,

I am a student at the University of Manchester Business School, U.K. I am working on my master's thesis for my M.B.A. where my team is studying stress management for educators. Our aim is to assess occupational stress management policies of various high schools throughout the United States and compare strategies to find any gaps or positive trends in policies.
We are looking for participants to take a completely anonymous survey which takes less than 10 minutes to complete, it has been designed to help us collect data pertaining to the sources of stress experienced by teachers and administrators, identification of stress mitigating programs available to educators and the perceived effectiveness of those programs. If you are willing to participate further, please send me an email to the address below, and I will respond with a link to our online survey.
I believe the evaluation system is chronically unfair. Admins come in in the middle of a lesson and expect me to re-explain the entire lesson to the students so that the admin knows I communicate effectively with The students. Otherwise it is a Needs Improvement. So frustrating. Any comments?

These companies even provide their own evaluators - some who have no experience in education or teaching. Yuck!
