GKT Essay

My friend took the GKT test on 3/23 the essay prompt was evaluate the benefits and challenges of a 4 level evaluation system for highly effective teachers. She felt the prompt was tough as she has not yet entered the college of education and really had no idea about how teachers are evaluated and all the things that contribute such as Vam scores, etc A little more background knowledge would have given her more information to write about. She mentioned there were several statistics questions on the math portion, you should know median, mode, mean etc. A few algebra questions regarding slope, and ratio, she did not talk about the reading or English portions She passed all 3 areas and is now waiting for the essay results. Her strategy in reading is to read the questions first and then read the passage.
