First step: take a deep breath and tell yourself that your life, education and your test prep has prepared you well to excel on this test.
Next, make yourself cup of coffee (or tea,m water, soda...) grab a clean notebook and bunch of pencils.
Now, go to the test website. for example, in Georgia you should go to [link removed].
Next step, a very important one, get Everything ready for tomorrow and place it in your purse. Remember to take ID, ticket and pencils..get ready for tomorrow.
Finally, pat yourself for taking a step toward becoming classroom teacher, put the anxiety away by making yourself busy with something else. Have a well balanced meal, good night's sleep, be at the test center before time and conquer the exam.
All the best.

The facility is called: IN DEFENSE: AN AMERICAN LEGACY/THE TUSKEGEE EXPERIENCE
I have several education programs to teach my primary focus: History.
I am seeking a partner (preferably- a retired military officer) with a passion for history.
My facility is a beautiful mini-museum of World War II artifacts from the countries in which The Tuskegee Airmen fought for our country. The facility is also serving as a lounge for military and non-military clientele. It is called: CALL TO DUTY. My daughter: Queen Oni, is an inspirational recording artist of song and spoken word. She is the hostess of the lounge.
You will love the setting!

Does anyone know if you get back pay for for teaching if you had already finished a degree but the paperwork was not turned in on time before the new year started?

Does anyone know how the new teacher pay for performance will work? I've been hearing that it is scheduled to begin next school year. Is this true? I'm wondering if I should find another career. Any news/update?
If you teach a subject that uses county generated (but state mandated) SLOs, the system is set up to incentivize you to cheat. Don't do it. With a max pay out of $2500, you are better off spending your time tutoring.
I fully believe that teachers that receive bonuses will:
Work in schools with administrators who inflate evaluations. Have SLOs that are poorly designed and easily manipulated.
The good part is, they will not reduce pay based on TKES.
We have family in Rome and Atl, son anything in between would be fine as well.

I know I can keep my health insurance because I have more than 10 years, but wondering if it costs more to continue with health insurance than what I am paying now?
You should speak with your Human Resources Department. Yes, it will likely cost more, because most systems pay a portion of the health insurance premiums and you will pay your portion and the employer's portion of the insurance premium when you separate from service.
Does anyone know where I can find a study guide for the new GACE tests? I would like to get certified to teach Art or Social Studies. Thank you in advance for your help!
