I am an economics writer working on a story about the effect of public sector cuts on the Georgia economy (I am mainly interested in metro Atlanta). To tell that story, I want to talk to teachers who can talk about how being laid off or furloughed or having salaries frozen has affected their spending or financial decisions.
With the unemployment rate rising again and growth slow, I want to add to the larger story with the perspective of the people most affected...
