Does anyone know how many years of creditable service a teacher needs to keep state medical benefits after leaving state position? I've heard three different answers. One teacher told me 10 years, I called the state health benefit office and the person I spoke with said 8 years, but then I read online TRS website, and it listed 20 years. Does anyone know? Thanks!
retired I'd believe the TRS site, as they decide this.
