I have been trying to become a teacher in the state since completion of B.A. 2017. Since then, I have complete my M.A. and still no luck. I contacted the state board and was told that I could utilize the alternate pathway as my degrees are in history. However, all the schools I have talked to have told me they will only offer those programs if I have a degree in one of the STEM fields. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
Pallas There is a glut of humanities teachers now. Consider teaching math or if you really want to teach history, you'll have to go to a teacher credentialing program like at GSU or Kennesaw
