Anonymous There is a grandfathering clause. You have to be enrolled in a program by this summer in order for old rules to apply I believe. Check on rules with PSC.

In your honest opinion, do you think this switch to common core is good or bad? I'm curious to know others thoughts. I've heard mixed reviews.

my 2 Bad. Common Core is just a front. The real story is big corporations controlling education. If the Common Core takeover is successful many teachers will be eliminated. Bill Gates thinks the salaries paid to teachers are wasted when that money could best be spent buying technology and sticking kids on computers that can give them instant feedback. T...See More

2015-2016 Contract Question

2015-2016 contracts will be handed out soon. I do not plan to return to my present county but have not secured a job for next year yet. If I go ahead and sign the contract with my present school system, do I have a certain amount of time in which without penalty I can void the contract OR will I be bound to the contract if I sign it?

Until recently it was great! Now, with the TKES program most now hate their jobs.
