I've heard through an email on the ITEC listserv that a
possible 2 - 2.5% across the board cut may be coming down the
road, if the rainy day fund cannot be tapped!! Anyone else
heard anything about this??

I agree, and the Iowa Basic Skills has to be given every year
and then you send it in to be scored. That costs hundreds of
dollars for the school district. Then we have to give the coGAT
tests and I know for one class in our school that's like $300
for one class, and we have 5 classes taking them.
