Re: deficiency statement question

    A similar thing happened to me when I was going through the
    process last year and received my deficiency statement in late
    May. The problem is that the fiscal year ends June 30, so you
    have to "reapply" (pay again). You do have 9 months to
    complete/pass your tests. I completed my tests in the fall
    and then resubmitted the application for my license (just one
    form) and sent ISBE another $30. I called ISBE at the time
    to confirm what I needed to send them. I received my regular
    Illinois license not too long after that. It's a pain, but it
    wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
