I use a general cover letter, altered to each school I apply to, but I am thinking that at this point my letter is getting outdated. I graduated in December 2009 and my letter still mentions work I completed while student teaching a year ago! Since graduating, I have been a substitute teacher which I do mention that in my letter, but I feel like maybe I should cut out my student teaching experience because it is from so long ago at this point. I am trying hard to keep my letter at one page, which is super difficult to do!! Any advice or suggestions?

Thanks!!
