You do not sue the teacher. You threaten a suit to the district for hiring this nut!

My dad is on his 37th year of teaching Math and coaching basketball. He will probably teach 5-8 more years as he is only 60 and a fantastic teacher/coach/motivator. Does anyone know the most number of years a teacher has taught in Kansas or where I can find that information? What about KS Teacher of the Year information. To be honest, I'm shocked he's never been nominated by a fellow collegue or student. He's changed so many lives for the better through his teaching and coaching. He received Kansas Girls' Coach of the Year 3 years ago after winning state basketball, but I'd like him to be recognized for his teaching ability. Thanks for all your help.
My dad Dr.Max Pickerill of Colby Kansas has been the longest teacher for Kansas,
He has taught for 58 years and is on his 100th Semester.
I do not know Nationally what he ranks? I would appreciate some information too.
I am glad you are proud of your dad I am of mine too.
I think it is getting to be a lost art. I think our dad's are one of kind dont you?

My Grandmother is in her 60th year of teaching, mostly in the Wathena, Kansas area. I am unsure of what the official state or national record is. I have not had much luck in my research. Any information you are willing to share, would be greatly appreciated.
I am also very proud of my grandmother's accomplishments and would also agree with your lost art point of view. My grandmother started teaching in a one room school house and drove a tractor to get there in the winter. That's dedication!
I think we both have reason to be proud of our family!

I am doing research on Bal-A-Vis-X and would like to find some original sources of research about it ASAP. If anyone can help me, please send information via email. Thanks.

You should conduct a research study using longitudinal data over time to implement this for schools. If the educators had "hard" data, they would be more apt to look at integrating this into their curriculum.
Hey, if I am seeing things correctly, the new threads from the state boards are being listed on the "latest buzz" board. If we want to see new messages from KS we can check there. If we remember to prefix any thread with KS, we'll know it came from the KS board. I hope more of you will make use of this resource.
