Need some advise on whether I should try to get a teaching position or go for an education program?

I used to work in industry with a PhD degree.I recently want to change my career path to be a high school physics teacher. Just obtained the preliminary license for Physics (8-12) and Math (8-12).

Since I do not have much teaching experience (only got tutoring and some limited substitue teaching experience) and I am a foreigner (with green card), is it easy to get a teaching position for my situation? Or should I take an education program first?
Jaron HM In a normal job market, I would suggest that you try to get a job. With math and physics, you would normally be in high demand. I would apply to jobs with the preliminary license, but also apply to certification programs.

Thanks ...See More
