I'm certified to teach social studies and English as a Second Language in Maryland. I'd like to relocate to Massachusetts. Does anyone have advice on how to go about finding a position? I'm applying to districts via School Spring, but I'm not having any luck so far.

license? MA does not reciprocate for licenses from other states. You'd have to get a MA license by taking the MTEL exam in your subject area and then go through the rest of the licensing process. If you're out of state, that may be holding you back. MA doesn't play nice with licenses. Even us teachers IN MA have a hard time getting straight answers from the...See More
